Allow for overspray and surface irregularities. Film thickness is based on closest 0.5 mil. Application of coating below minimum or above maximum dry mil thickness recommended may adversely affect coating performance.
THINNING: Use VM&P Naphtha. For spray, thin up to 10%. For brush, or roller, thin up to 5%.
SURFACE TEMPERATURE: Minimum 40/Maximum 120 °F.
CLEAN UP INSTRUCTIONS: Clean all equipment immediately after use with VM&P Naphtha. Flush and clean spray equipment before material dries.
APPLICATION EQUIPMENT: Air or airless spray, brush or roller.
Cautions:
Contains Petroleum Distillate, Toluol. Warning! Flammable, vapor harmful, causes eye irritation. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Use only with adequate ventilation. Avoid breathing of vapor or spray mist. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. FOR USE IN CONFINED AREAS: Workmen must wear fresh airline respirators to avoid breathing concentrated vapors. Circulate adequate fresh air continuously during application. Hypersensitive persons should wear gloves or use protective cream. All lights and electrical equipment should be explosion-proof. Workmen should be required to use non-ferous tools and wear conductive and non-sparking shoes in areas where explosion hazards exist. Keep closures tight and upright to prevent leakage. Keep container closed when not in use. In case of spillage, collect and dispose of in accordance with local applicable regulations. In the event welding or flame cutting is performed on metal coated with this product, do so in accordance with instructions in USA Standard Z49.1, "Safety in Welding and Cutting". All welded, burned or otherwise damaged areas should be prepared again to base metal and recoated, as specified.
FIRST AID: In case of skin contact, flush with plenty of water; for eyes, immediately flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes and get medical attention. If expose to a high concentration of vapor, remove to fresh air. Wash hands thoroughly after using and before smoking or eating. Photochemically reactive.
