Description:
Under Coat AW is a modified rubberized asphaltic emulsion coating--formulated to be water reducible. It is primarily used as an automotive undercoat and as a backer coating where water "cut back" is desired. When applied properly, it provides a thick, flexible coating. When cured, the coating acts as a noise buffer which resists the corrosiveness of road environments. Under Coat AW is a thick, black, water-based product that can be sprayed on horizontal or vertical surfaces with minimal drips or sagging--and cures to a tough film.

Application:
Under Coat AW can be brushed or sprayed. The area to be coated should be covered completely at a rate of 20-25 sq. ft. per gallon. Since there is a tendency to use too much, usage should be monitored for best results with minimal waste.
Clean up with VM&P Naphtha is recommended. Although Under Coat AW is water reducible, once it has cured, water is not an effective clean up liquid.

·Avoid prolonged contact with skin and breathing of vapors.
·Flush skin with water immediately.
·Use adequate ventilation.
·In case of contact with eyes, flush eyes with water and call physician.
